1. Susan's Pick: Sweet Emotion Cookies! A friend was at a bridal shower and sent us this picture and said the custom cookies were not only fantastic, but so adorable! 2. Farrar's Pick: Golden Light is now smoke-free! I am so excited to go watch live music at this fun local spot without feeling the need for a shower when I get home.

3. Susan's Pick: I got this funky exercise ball chair for my husband to sit on at work - the zenergy ball chair basically is an exercise ball covered in fabric. While you are sitting at your desk, you can be strengthening your core! I bought it locally from a friend who works at GDS - 806-324-4300. Farrar also has one of these in her office!

5. Susan's Pick: I think Robyn at Semblance Boutique (in Wolflin Square) has such a knack for selecting fantastic-ly fun jewelry, not to mention great tops and dresses for her chic boutique. I ran by last week and got one of these bracelets and haven't taken it off since - love it!

6. Farrar's Pick: Funny, creative parenting tips - some of them are pretty smart!

7. Susan's Pick: I am in Chick Fil A's drive-thru multiple times a week - sometimes even more than once in a day :) They just re-vamped their menu with calories listed for all menu options AND launched three new salads that are fantastic. Love the avocado lime ranch dressing!

8. Farrar's Pick: Lip Spread - This magic lip gloss is anti-aging, moisturizing and specially formulated to react with your lips for a unique tint just right for you. I keep one in my gym bag for post-workout.

9. Susan's Pick: Raffkind's is carrying the most hilarious line of clothing, hats and gift items by Rowdy Gentleman. I snatched up a Reagan/Bush '84 t-shirt and a "Back to Back World War Champs" koozie for my brother-in-law's birthday recently. Love this company's motto: Rowdy Gentleman is equal parts sophisticated and sophomoric; refined and rambunctious. Father's Day is around the corner people - hurry to Raffkind's!

10. Farrar's Pick: Lunch at West Texas RX. If you like healthy, delicious food at a great price, this is your new lunch spot! Susan and I enjoyed an adzuki bean, avocado quesadilla today at this health food pharmacy hidden behind the Taco Villa on Coulter. The daily specials (only $5) are listed on their Facebook page. And we love the friendly owners and staff!

Our top 10 favorite things right now:

1. Susan's Pick: Allison R. Banks Designs - Artists will create a two, three or four-letter custom monogram for you. Starting with a pencil sketch, you work with artists to create a unique one of a kind monogram. Once finalized, designs are scanned into files  -  to be used on anything from stationary, gift tags to cocktail napkins. Sky is the limit!

2. Farrar's Pick: Maaji Swimwear - These reversible swimsuits are fabulous and versatile with two great looks in one!

3. Susan's Pick: Fathom - Loving this fun travel website! 

4. Farrar's Pick: IKEA Egg Swivel Chairs - We just ordered a couple of these for our daughter's playroom. Saw them at the DHDC locally and ordered online. They are really fun for the kids (although slightly annoying to assemble).

5. Susan's Pick: Quinoa Cakes - Had dinner at Crush last week with friends and LOVED the Quinoa Cakes on the appetizer menu. Delish! Try this recipe if you want to make some at home.

6. Farrar's Pick: Soludos - Get ready for summer with these cute and comfy shoes for the whole family (at  great price). I am loving all the stripes!

7. Susan's Pick: The dangerous thing about Gray is Grey is that you can always find something you can't live without. Case in point: just snatched up this onyx lamp. The onyx base lights up together or separately with the lamp. Love.

8. Farrar's Pick: Thug Kitchen - For ADULTS ONLY, this hysterical healthy cooking blog is full of terribly foul language, but I promise you'll be laughing out loud while learning some great new recipes.

9. Susan's Pick: Hoodie Buddie - sweatshirts with built-in headphones. It's as easy as plugging your ipod into your pocket!

10. Farrar's Pick: Kaleido Lens -  A friend told me about this cool app that transforms your phone into a kaleidoscope!

Our top 10 favorite things right now:

1. Farrar's Pick: New Social Media Apps - My current favorite is snapchat which allows you to send photo and video messages to your friends, but the messages disappear after a few seconds of viewing. I also have high hopes for Twitter's new Vine app which is basically like Instagram, but with videos.

2. Susan's Pick: This pick will shock anyone who knows me because I rarely wear flats - but my sister-in-law introduced me to these Yosi Samra fold up flats over Spring Break and I am in love - very comfortable. They also have a great collection of flip flops!

3. Farrar's Pick: Kombucha! I tasted this yummy fermented tea drink for the first time over the weekend at my new favorite place Brewed in Fort Worth. It tastes sweet, fruity and fizzy (like it must be bad for you), but it is full of full of healthy probiotics and antioxidants, and it's low calorie, too! You can buy bottled versions at local health food stores. Or, if you're extra motivated, you can make your own - I just ordered this home brew kit from Kombucha Brooklyn.

4. Susan's Pick: World Market. We don't often talk about chain stores or restaurants, but World Market (on Soncy Road) is worth a mention. Loving this pillow that I just picked up to bring a new shot of color to my daughter's room - and love the price, too!

5. Farrar's Pick: Bedtime Math - many of us read a book with our children before bedtime, but we don't do any math! This website provides a math problem-a-day for various ages to make it easy for you to incorporate math into your family's daily routine. They will be launching an app soon, but for now you can sign up to receive their daily emails.

6. Susan's Pick: This Tervis 24oz personalized water bottle with easy snap open lid is a huge hit around our house! Great for the young athlete who always needs a drink on the go. Click here to order yours.

7. Farrar's Pick: Christmas Abbott - I learned about this amazing woman on the news the other day, and I just had to share her story. She's the first ever female NASCAR pit crew member and she's only 5'3" and 115 pounds. We wish this accomplished CrossFit athlete good luck in her new venture!

8. Susan's Pick: Club Z Tutoring Service. Even though I'm quite sure I graduated from college, somehow my children's elementary math is completely lost on me. Enter Tutor... fights over homework are now in the past. Club Z Tutoring came highly recommended; it is a service that connects qualified tutors with students in their homes after school.

9. Farrar's Pick: Hair Chalk - loving this fun new trend of adding streaks of bright color to your hair, but I definitely wouldn't want to do it permanently. This hair chalk allows you to add color for a night out, but be able to wash it right out in the shower. Maybe a fun Easter gift for your teenage daughter?

10. Susan's Pick: I saved my favorite for last... FARRAR'S BANGS! I'm totally digging her new look - even the first lady copied her :) Andy Justus wants us to give her bangs their own Twitter feed... love it & on it!

1. A big reason I get on Pinterest is to be inspired by recipe ideas, especially the ones that are simple and fun to do with my kiddos. They loved these s'mores croissants - perfect for a Saturday morning! (Susan)

1. Lole clothing for active women. We especially love their puffy jackets - which happen to be on sale right now! Available locally at Get Fit.

2. If you didn't get enough yummy treats this holiday season, stop by Nordic Galley Bakeri at 34th & Coulter (between Jason's Deli and Natural Grocers). They bake up delicious goodies every day - we especially like the cinnamon bread and the oatmeal bars. They also serve breakfast and lunch daily.

3. This hilarious YouTube video has gone absolutely viral and is on all the TV shows right now - you'll crack up as you watch this guy disguise himself as a car seat playing practical jokes on unsuspecting fast food workers!

4. If you love to read magazines on your tablet, you've got to sign up for Next Issue. For just $10/month, you'll have access to hundreds of top magazines!

5. Get 10 cents off each gallon of gas you buy every time you fill up at a Toot'n Totum gas station. All you have to do is pick up a Gas Discount Card at a local Toot'n Totum store then complete the easy online registration. Just swipe your card at the pump, and it will automatically debit your checking account. We love this great deal!

6. 100+ Fun Things to Ask Siri. If you have an iPhone 4S or 5, you have Siri - the "personal assistant" in your smartphone. Well, if you are like most of us, then you use Siri to get a good laugh. Click link to get 100 fun things to ask Siri. And, in your settings, change Siri's language to a British accent like we did - fabulous!

7. Happy To Help is a brand new concierge service in Amarillo. Basically a for-hire "personal assistant" to help you with anything and everything. Who doesn't need a little help once in a while?!? They can run errands, meet repairmen at your house, wrap gifts, make reservations or travel plans, and even care for your pets when you are gone. The sky is the limit.

8. This phone dock from Areaware is just way too cool. Looks like an old school alarm clock, but is actually the perfect chic way to charge your phone each night. You just download an app to make your phone into a clock. Available locally at Et Cetera.

9. Smoked Tomato Soup. Absolutely day-changing on our cold winter days - Crush has it on their menu on a regular basis or make this one at home. Best part of the recipe? No cream, so it won't ruin any of your resolutions!

10. New Year's Resolutions. Speaking of resolutions... you know you can't resist making a few. We love this list compiled by the fabulous Blue Print Store in Dallas (great interiors, check it out next time you are in Big D- in a historic house on Fairmount). Best ideas to steal from their list? Here are a few: no more reality TV, ride bikes on sunny days... just to name a few.

Since it is a festive time of year, we decided that our December top 10 would be our "fantasy... the big dream list." Go big or go home, right?

1. Susan: Hermes Birkin Bag. You put your name on a waiting list at Hermes, it will take up to 6 years to get one. And the French are not giving them away! I want an orange one, s'il vous plait! 

2. Farrar: Gulfstream G650 Jet. If I could afford to purchase, maintain and operate this fine piece of machinery, I would travel the world again and again. First stops would be New Zealand for the scenery, Belgium for beer tour of the monasteries, Chile for fly fishing, India for a yoga retreat, Machu Picchu for a little hike and then Bali for some beach-side relaxation.

3. Susan: These earrings are the bomb! Hint, Hint, Santa! At Jo Latham Fine Jewelry in Et Cetera. "Sliced Ice" loops. $25K. I'm worth every penny, honey.

4. Farrar: Louisa McElwain Painting. I promise you this photo does not even come close to doing this painting justice. Louisa captures the heavenly Western skies - full of clouds, storms and sunsets - better than anyone by channeling her connection with God. Next time you are in Santa Fe, stop by Evoke Contemporary gallery (on Lincoln Ave by the Plaza) to see some of her work. Oil on canvas - 50x70 inches - price upon request.

5. Susan: Dream concert in best city ever - Maroon 5 is in concert this summer in Paris on July 2nd. Bonjour, Adam!

6. Farrar: Fly Fishing Ranch in the Rocky Mountains with private water, great lodging, hiking and downhill skiing nearby. This gorgeous ranch near Telluride would be perfect. Only $16.95 million for this year-round mountain retreat.

7. Susan: When not driving carpool or unloading a semi-size load of groceries, this classic Mercedes convertible from 1971 would be pretty sweet. I was born in 1971, so I know it is a great vintage.:)

8. Farrar: Van Clef & Arpels Alhambra Jewelry. I've always adored this classic collection - the hardest part would be deciding which pieces to buy. I love these butterflies and this fun bracelet, but nothing beats this simple beauty.  

9. Susan: Our family was just blessed with an amazing trip to Hawaii, and I want to go back asap - and this time to this place: Four Seasons on the Big Island. One word: fabulousnessoverthetopawesomeness.

10. Farrar: I always love the fantasy gifts in the annual Neiman Marcus Christmas Book. Of the offerings this year, I'd probably chose the jet pack or the swanky tailgate trailer.

Our top 10 for November 2012:

We are loving our new iPhone 5s, so our first three are great apps for your phone. Check it out!

1. VideoStar App - Our favorite new phone-toy! Your kiddos (or you, who are we kidding) can create all sorts of music videos using the music from your library.

2. Songza - This website and app is SO cool because it offers free playlists curated by music experts and includes a music concierge to help you choose the perfect music for each setting. If you love Pandora, you'll be a fan of Songza for sure!

3. With all of the thank you notes you'll need to write in the upcoming season, we have a fun new solution for you! Download Red Stamp - a great new app that customizes thank you notes and texts or emails them for you.

4. Semblance Boutique  - we are obsessed with this new boutique that just opened in Wolflin Square (next door to Lilly Finch). A gorgeous modern space that appears to be a super-high end boutique, but we'll tell you a little secret... the prices are great! The owner, Robyn, has a really great blog, too.

5. This door sounds just like Miles Davis. Take a listen - it's pretty crazy!

6. Weelicious.com - If you have small children, you will love this website full of family-friendly recipes that will encourage your children to eat healthy foods in a yummy, fun way. Also check out Catherine's new cookbook that teaches you how to get your kids to be great eaters.

7. Edible Spoons - These adorable and delicious edible spoons are just what you need to impress your guests this holiday season. Serve appetizers and mini desserts on flavors such as parmesan basil, coconut curry and gingerbread.

8. Coursera - Take FREE online courses from the world's best universities. Improve your knowledge to advance in your career or just for fun. Classes from 33 different universities including Stanford, Vanderbilt, Columbia and Princeton. Smart is definitely the new sexy!

9. Panhandler's Cafe - It's not really a "new" spot to eat lunch, but it IS one of our all time favorites! Hands-down, the best salad bar in Amarillo and great soups, sandwiches and lunch specials. If you haven't had a cupcake from there, then you aren't living right. In the basement of the Amarillo National Bank Plaza I downtown at 410 S. Taylor. (plus - free wi-fi for us working girls!) 

10. We love this Bluetooth Handset & Charging Unit because it eliminates 99% of the mobile phone radiation - and it's high quality speaker and microphone ensures crisp sound!

6. Lip gloss perfect for those of us on-the-go: includes LED light and mirror for a smooth application wherever you are. And, we love the lip-plumping tingly-ness.
